Nick Lyskin pretended to be a lawyer and helped steal our dog

How unethical does a firm have to be to hire someone as dishonest as Nick Lyskin (Arizona State University) into their practice?

Nick Lyskin sits around pretending he is a lawyer, when at MOST, he is a law student.  When directly confronted and asked (on Facebook) to tell us if he was seriously claiming he was a lawyer, Nick got scared and blocked our Facebook page.  He threatened us and even our supporters with lawsuits – claiming that his credentials made him qualified to make legal judgements.  Of course, this was all part of his fear tactics and he STILL has not followed through on a single one of his threats.  Even as a student, Nick is arrogant and dishonest enough to sit around threatening people.  Can you imagine this guy as an actual lawyer?  Would anyone be desperate enough to hire Nick?

After all the threats of lawsuits from both Lana and her son, Nick Lyskin, we have not been sued. As we said, this was all about intimidation from people who know they are guilty and are using threats to try to keep people quiet – both us and anyone who helps us.

Lana commented on Facebook saying “Guess I’ll see you in court!” and her son, Nick Lyskin,  (from a family that is supposedly honest and cares about animals) said:

“The dog has most likely been long digested by a coyote, the only thing they are going to find is a notice to appear in court. Perks of going to law school is I know a slander suit when I see one.”

Nick also posted:

“I would like to thank you Miss Velazquez for being the spokesperson of our slander suit, I owe you one!” (This was an effort to threaten one of our supporters)

“Can’t wait to see you guys in court.”  (More false threats from Nick Lyskin)

For all of you that are interested in this case, we would like you to know that our investigation is still focused on Patricia and Dr. Khamaj Dave. The fact that they are getting friends like Lana and Andy Lyskin to “infiltrate” us and lie to us is just another indication that the Dave’s have Riley. Why would you do this if you didn’t have something to hide?

———————————————————————————————————————

Many of you have asked us to tell you more about how we know that Lana Lyskin and Andy Lyskin ( President of Vic’s Plumbing Supply in Ventura ) helped Patricia and Khamaj Dave steal our dog, Riley.

Just a few minor reasons for why we started suspecting the Lyskins:

1. Patricia claimed that she has a video of Riley being taken by a coyote, but refused to let anyone see the video. Anyone, that is, except Lana Lyskin. Lana told us that the very first time she met Patricia (on Patricia’s street), Patricia supposedly showed Lana the video on her cellphone.

While Lana and Patricia were talking, Patricia’s neighbor came over to talk to them. However, Patricia did not show her own neighbor the video. So Patricia trusted Lana (a supposed stranger) over her own neighbor? Why?

We asked Lana if she was willing to say that the video definitely showed Riley and Lana wavered and admitted that the video was very grainy and that it may have been a cat. Lana claimed that Patricia had offered to let her come to Patricia’s house to see the video on Patricia’s TV. We asked Lana to take a picture of Patricia’s yard to make sure it matched the background in the video. Suddenly, after this, Lana told us that Patricia would not allow her to see the video again.

2. Patricia Dave said that her gardener found Riley’s harness, but Patricia refused to let us speak with this gardener. Lana Lyskin later told us that Patricia confided in her and told her the name of this gardener. However, Lana refused to tell us the gardener’s name. She told us to trust her that the gardener was not involved, but gave no reason why. This makes no sense at all.

3. Lana claimed she put up flyers, but the only time we know she put up a flyer was ONE time. We told her that one of Patricia’s neighbors had confronted someone that was taking down Riley’s flyers that we put up. Lana kept asking us the name of this neighbor. We refused to tell her but unfortunately, told her where he lived. Where do you think she was putting up that ONE flyer? Right at the end of this neighbor’s driveway – where she lingered until this neighbor came home and talked to her.

4. We have always called Patricia Dave by the name “Patricia.” However, Lana ALWAYS called her “Patricia Ann.” This was strange, because no one else ever called her that. One day, Lana was telling us about how she had talked to “Patricia Ann” on the phone and she was trying to trick “Patricia Ann” into trusting her. In the middle of the conversation, we suddenly asked Lana – “Does Patricia call herself Patricia Ann?”

Lana stopped talking for a good 5 seconds. Then said, “I mean.. I don’t call her Patricia Ann. Patricia and Ann just don’t go together. It sounds so weird to say Patricia Ann. I just say Patricia”

We responded saying… “We weren’t asking about you. But does SHE call herself Patricia Ann?”

Lana said “Yes, I guess she does.”

Clearly, Lana was lying about how well she knows “Patricia Ann.” Why lie and act like she didn’t say “Patricia Ann” in all our calls and her texts/emails?

5. Lana and Andy Lyskin recommended we hire a private detective they know. They went on and on about how great this detective was, but as soon as we asked to talk to him, they said that the detective was retired. The Lyskins never brought it up again or recommended anyone else. In hindsight, we realized this was an attempt to find out if we had already hired a detective to investigate the Daves and a way for them to pretend they were helping us.

6. Andy Lyskin repeatedly argued with us saying that Technicolor was no longer in Camarillo. We told him that we knew the manufacturing plant had shut down, but believed the office was still open. He said he knew that it was shut down and that he knew Patricia Dave went to Oxnard for work. This turned out to be a lie. We called Technicolor and found out the Camarillo office was open. Patricia also still works at this Camarillo office. It is possible that Andy may just act confident about things he knows nothing about (not a great trait for his business), but this is just another reason we started suspecting that the Lyskins were trying to get in the way of our investigation.
